Colonial Warrior Battle Boots
(A quick note on the original boots.  There were two types of boots we saw on the show: colonial warrior battle suit boots and dress boots.  The bridge officers wore black dress boots, while warriors wore brown.  The popular warrior battle boots were Sidi Full Bore motocross boots that were painted brown.  You can still find them occasionally on eBay. If you manage to score a pair of the vintage beauties--use Meltonian Nu-Life boot paint--get Cordovan Brown.)  The dress boots were brown jackboots.  You can find these all over the Internet on those costumes and accessories websites--they are commonly called Captain's Boots.

You can find the Colonial Warrior gun belt and holster already made at a few of the sites above.  You can also make one.  If you want to take a stab at making your own, you'll need the following items: canvas pistol belt with brass fittings (I recommend a khaki colored belt, as it turns out better when dyed the correct color--steel gray), Kydex sheet (Chocolate Brown) to make the holster or a pre-cut Kydex holster blank from Katarra8 on eBay, 1/4" black elastic webbing for the leg strap, Velcro strips to secure leg strap, 3/8" brass Chicago screws to fasten holster to belt, and 3 recharge cylinders (battlestargalactica.org and Katarra8 sell sets of three.

To make a Colonial Warrior dress belt, you need the following items: 2" wide leather strip long enough to make the belt, 2" rectangular brass buckle, dark brown leather dye--again, use Cordovan Brown.
